HVAC/R Service Technician

A Hansberger Service Technician job responsibilities include: Troubleshooting, Diagnosing, and repairing Residential or Commercial HVAC systems.

Performing preventive maintenance, and providing guidance and recommendations to our customers based on their professional assessment and Hansberger’s procedures.

Service technicians are expected to diagnose a problem, put together a price for the repair, gain authorization for the repair, complete the service ticket and collect for the repair. The tech does not need to be an estimator. The ‘pricing’ comes from selecting the tasks/repair work required from a Flat Rate/menu driven/price book.

This position has the potential for overtime and all technicians serve their rotation on-call.

· Industry experience.
· EPA Certification
· Nate certification preferred, not a requirement. (Hansberger will help you obtain this certification)
· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
· Communication skills.
· Customer Service skills
· Ability to represent yourself as a company representative
· Troubleshooting Skills

HVAC Dispatcher

HVAC Dispatcher Requirements:

  • Must have dispatch experience with multiple phone lines
  • Exceptional organizational and leadership skills.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to multitask while remaining detail-oriented.
  • Comfortable with learning new software programs.
  • Positive, Can-Do attitude.
  • Must be eligible for overtime during busy seasons.
  • Communication skills are important.

HVAC Dispatcher Job Description and Responsibilities

  • Working with the Service and or Office manager, schedule, and dispatch workers to appropriate locations using our software, email, and phones.
  • Handle incoming calls, schedule appointments, follow up calls, and promote our Planned Maintenance Agreements.
  • Resolve customer complaints and answer customer questions.
  • Analyze information and evaluate the results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
  • Assist office manager as needed
  • Collect occasional past due customer accounts.
  • Keep customers and technicians aware of the status of orders and scheduling changes.
  • Filing and other miscellaneous clerical duties
  • Run reports, scan and file documents,
  • Administer text/email and snail mail
